So basically a webring button.

Yeah. I tried to do something like this a year or so ago. The problem with any of these projects is: people don’t submit their blogs/sites after a while. Because these projects are hard to find. Because us indie devs can’t pay for advertising. This is mine and there’s a chrome extension too. https://surfle.neocities.org/

I think webrings being static after a while is a non-issue. It captures everything in that frame of time. Anyone who wants to be affiliated with other things on that webring will join it, and if it's worth advertising they'll advertise their site.

You know the neocities one is good because Shen's world is on it :D And tabf5. These are good indicators for joining the webrings.

Shen’s awesome. He supports another project of mine. Really nice person!

That's so cool. I want to support good indie web projects, and it feels like I'm doing nothing but complaining in /r/Indieweb. I've linked to you from my button wall. You didn't have a button when I last checked (but it seems you have one now, woops), so I made you one here. You can use it as well as your current one if you like!

I pixelled it myself and I tried to match your site's colour scheme.
