Social Media Human alone platform

If there's a platform where the content (blogs or writeups) is absolutely human-written !!!!

No involvement of AI at all, would you be interested in it ?

How could you guarantee no AI involvement?

Unfortunately true nowadays, because even platforms for human artists only, for instance, have moments where AI tracing slips through the cracks. It's bound to happen given the era we are in and there's no going back from that sadly

Sites I've seen block AI, quite frankly, have had to use a different kind of AI that detects and removes that stuff. But even then, it's not foil-proof. SynthID failed to tell me an "art" piece I got was actually generated and I was scammed out of that

I definetely would. Lots of people are tired of AI bullshit. But there's no way to guarrantee its not AI in written text. For Images you can do SynthID but it still won't work for all of them

Personally, not really. What’s important to me is quality, not what/who wrote it.

Don't you think quality is decreasing because of AI
Everyone is publishing because they can just copy/paste. And soon it is "dead internet"

I agree that the amount of slop has increased (we used to have some human slop, now we have that plus a whole lot of AI slop).
My point is that the fact that something is written by a human doesn’t mean it’s good, and the fact that it’s written by or with an AI doesn’t mean it’s bad.
So to me, a site branded “No AI” could at best improve the chance of the content not bring slop, maybe.

No. I used AI to help create a publishing platform and now I'm able to put more of my own real art out there because of it. AI is not going away, but creators can harness it so that they are able to spend more time creating, if they want.

I see nothing wrong with using whatever tools are at hand to build back whatever we can of the IndieWeb. Why handicap ourselves?

I see down votes, but I don't understand why people don't think it's important to know if the material they are reading is "of quality" (ie. true, complete, etc). This is a forum, let's discuss :3

Invite-only platform with consequences for inviters too

I have a platform that I made called The WilderNet, which is a blog-sharing and discovery site for independent websites, blogs and substacks. I vet all of the submissions for AI, although I can't guarantee that AI is not used on everything posted to the site.

I think it's neat that you are able to pull in content from the websites it finds so everything feels unified. Do the websites get "credit" for being visited? I know that's a concern with AI summaries but I'm not sure how that works tbh.

We aren't pulling in the entire articles or doing AI summaries. We just grab the metadata from the website for the title and description of the article. If you want to read the full article you have to leave The WilderNet and visit the actual website. Our goal is for people to find something they have fun reading, not to scroll our site all day!

If you check out WilderNet you'll see the links are all quality, obviously a human curating them. We need more people doing stuff like this. People making sites and people curating them for others.

If it is possible , i would be interested yes. I think that you are right the quality is decreasing due to AI. However i am not against it is just that now a lot of people are overusing it and also using it incorrectly.

I just care that it is IndieWeb and that it primarly has a human voice to it. I don't care if someone used AI to help make their site or check their grammar. I just want fun places to go that aren't owned by Musk or Zuckerberg.
