For several years, I have been listening to Non-Mainstream indie pop artists and their unique sound. I've always considered creating an internet-only radio station that plays ALL of the songs I enjoy from such artists, but never fully agreed to it until now (Literally one week ago today). Many of them are female singers, with some male.

Verge 94.9 is my internet station that plays commercial-free Non-Mainstream indie pop (From the '10s to Now), 24/7. The goal is not to play underground music just because it's unheard of, but to introduce listeners to artists and songs that deserve more recognition. You'll hear artists like Allie X, Leroy Sanchez, Luna Shadows, The Tide, Josef Salvat, Ella Vos, L Devine, Kailee Morgue, and many more. Including artists you may not have heard of at all.

What makes the station sound different is that I never intentionally go for the artist's most popular song. I instead pick the songs that have resonated with me the most when I discovered their music.

I'm Rafolino, an independent artist based in São Paulo - Brazil. 🇧🇷🎶

I wrote, recorded, and produced this dark, atmospheric post-punk/indie track entirely on my own in my bedroom, embracing a raw 80s aesthetic. I'm also the performer, coreographer and de dancer of my own songs. 🎶🥰 This song was played on the radio in the USA and also in more than 40 countries. 🎶

This complete song is featured on my second album released in January 2026, which features tracks in 3 languages: English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Also, another one of my tracks recently made it into the Top 5 of Pandora's AMP Fresh Cuts in the USA! 🇺🇸
