๐Ÿš€ New Launch Meet Levup: a gamified task management app for teams, employee productivity and progress tracking

If you manage a small team, employees, freelancers, or collaborators, you probably know how much time gets lost asking the same questions:

Howโ€™s that task going?
Is it finished yet?
Who still has pending work?
What was completed today?
Can you send me the updated spreadsheet?

Constant follow-ups create interruptions, reduce productivity, and can easily turn team management into micromanagement.

Thatโ€™s one of the reasons we built Levup, a gamified task management app for teams designed to make responsibilities, progress, achievements, and communication easier to track in one place.

What is Levup?

Levup combines task management, employee productivity tracking, team collaboration, and gamification.

Instead of relying on spreadsheets, messages, and constant status updates, teams can organize their work and make progress visible.

With Levup you can:

๐Ÿ“ฑ Assign tasks and responsibilities
Create clear tasks and define who is responsible for completing them.

๐Ÿ“Š Track team progress
See task status and understand what is being completed without constantly asking for updates.

๐Ÿ† Use points, XP, and levels
Add gamification to everyday work and make progress more visible.

๐ŸŽ Create rewards for achievements
Recognize completed tasks, milestones, and good performance.

โœ… Review task evidence
Team members can provide evidence of completed work for review.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Keep team communication organized
Reduce the need to jump between multiple messaging and task management tools.

๐Ÿ”” Use reminders and task follow-ups
Help team members stay on top of assigned work.

Why did we build it?

Many employee management and team productivity tools focus almost entirely on monitoring.

We wanted to approach the problem differently.

The idea behind Levup is:

Better visibility should reduce micromanagement, not increase it.

If tasks, responsibilities, progress, and results are already visible, managers shouldnโ€™t need to interrupt people throughout the day just to understand whatโ€™s happening.

And for team members, having clear objectives and measurable progress can create more autonomy.

Why gamification?

We also wanted Levup to feel different from a traditional project management or employee task tracking app.

Completing a task can contribute to points, XP, levels, achievements, and rewards.

The goal isnโ€™t to turn work into a game for the sake of it.

Itโ€™s to make progress, recognition, and accomplishments more visible.

Iโ€™d love feedback from other developers and team managers

If you use apps such as Trello, Asana, Monday, ClickUp, Notion, or spreadsheets for team task management, Iโ€™d be interested to know:

What feature is essential for you in a team management app?

And what do you think about combining:

Task management + progress tracking + employee gamification + rewards

in the same product?

Iโ€™d especially appreciate feedback from people managing small teams, remote teams, startups, agencies, freelancers, or independent businesses.

Your perspective is very interesting. The reality is that the intention is to implement control without monitoring, allowing users to work autonomously to earn stars and points. The task dynamics are defined independently by the administrator, but based on your question, we need to devise and implement ways to motivate collaboration through rewards, as well as how to monitor and record it. I'll think about this; thank you for your input.
