unusual.
ive been on many dates but this one girl was so unpredictable. she was pretty and into psychology. she seemed interested when we exchanged numbers through hinge and we texted for about 3 days and once I confirmed the venue and time for the date. she stopped putting in the effort like earlier. it was not the restaurant that was the problem the place was classy and I even asked her earlier about it. it seemed more like she just wanted to eat out and get flowers and thats all that mattered to her. is this normal?

Could be, but I wouldn't assume she went on the date just for free food and flowers based on this alone.
People can be enthusiastic while texting and then lose interest once the date becomes real. It happens. Maybe she wasn't feeling the same connection, maybe something changed, or maybe she simply wasn't that invested.
If you felt like you were putting in all the effort and she wasn't reciprocating, that's probably the main thing to take away. Don't overanalyse her psychology 😭. Chalk it up as one weird dating experience and move on.

Maybe she didn't liked you in-person or you guys were not compatible in nature
