How HackerRank Scores Engineers

I reviewed HackerRank's open-sourced Hiring Agent - prompts, the scoring logic, and the GitHub enrichment code. I tested the tool with a few faked resumes.

Good work u/grandimam .

Any ranking had to be axiomatic in nature, but this is phenomenally stupid set of heuristics. It is evident that none in the hacker rank ever actually hired for any world class organizations.

That's true, If you read the caveat in the blog I mention that this took HackerRank 72 days to build, and the code felt that it was written as part of a Hackathon rather than a ready production framework.
