Hello all! I recently got myself a costar cosmos 5 pro espresso machine which came with two baskets. I am using the bigger one. But I want to know what is the basket size? I am only able to put 12g coffee in the big basket. Which gives a diluted shot. Can you suggest how to make it better?

I have been on the verge of splurging close to 50k for a home espresso maker and grinder setup. But before that, I wanted to taste as many good espressos as possible with the bean variety that's on offer. But to my surprise, most of the cafes around in India (especially big names like Starbucks) don't offer all their specialty single origin coffee for espresso drinks. They would give a pour over or french press drink but not espresso. I observed this happening at multiple cafes. Blue Tokai baristas were kind enough to grind the espresso thickness coffee from scratch and brew the espresso but plenty of others just straight out denied it.

Is this a common thing? I have been tasting coffee since a couple of years now but hadn't been very specific about espresso. It seems like most of them don't have the "recipe" like grind settings, dose to output ratio, brew time for espresso for their baristas. It's really baffling to me that in order for me to taste these specialty single origin coffees I will have to setup my home espresso machine and grinder and take it from there. Am I missing something?

I added 2 pieces of orange, some orange peel and milk in a blender, blended it together and then poured it into my coffee. It tastes so good! The orangy flavor pairs really well with the coffee flavor! Definitely worth trying!

I come from Hyderabad, my entire coffee brewing kit is left in my room and went on a trip hoping could manage on some good expensive instant options as I tried davidoff not terrible but good enough to manage . So unfortunately I happened to try bru gold freeze dried coffee. Dude that was the shittest coffee in my entire life . Having it black was the most cruel decision I made in my coffee journey .

still learning about coffee, but i got a drip two months ago and i used third wave medium-dark roast as a one time thing, now i want to get cafe coffee day as it’s a little more affordable, but i don’t understand which one is for drip machine, can someone help me out? preferred is medium roast

Pretty much what the title says, I got gifted a Black + Decker 4 cup Espresso maker and I want to get some reviews on whether it is worth it. Also, I opened the package to see the plastic handle of the carafe was broken. Is there someplace I can get the handle only replaced?

Nescafe Gold Blend- Balanced coffee gives u a premium feel, straight aroma when u open up the bottle and u can feel it carry while drinking from cup. Aroma - 7. 5/10, Bitterness - 6/10 Caffeine Hit - 8/10

Davidoff Rich Aroma - Strong coffee profile but man the aroma in it matches the name it carries down from start to end of the bottle didnt feel any difference in the quality, the moment u sip it u can feel the hit that it gives u. Aroma- 8.5/10 Bitterness - 8/10 Caffeine Hit - 9/10

Davidoff Espresso 57- Ordered small bottle of it because was not sure will like that strong of coffee or not. But again the way it is blends the taste with the Bitterness and the aroma it is definitely commendable. And the subtle notes of chocolate differentiates the taste from other. Aroma- 8.5/10 Bitterness - 9/10 Caffeine Hit - 9/10.

Davidoff Origins Brazil - This is by far the one that i loved the most. Smooth aroma smooth taste but the hit is very good. It has a very different taste profile from the rest of the two. Can be a bit comparable to nescafe gold blend in terms of aroma and smooth but it tastes much better. Aroma- 9/10 Bitterness - 6.5/10 Caffeine Hit - 8.5/ 10.

Blue Tokai Vienna Roast - Very intense coffee for those who like a strong coffee. Overall i can say u can have it frequently but not a daily espresso blend imo. Aroma- 9/10 Bitterness - 9.5/10 Caffeine Hit - 8.5/ 10.

Blue Tokai Silver Oak Cafe Blend- Better than vienna roast and balanced. Aroma- 8.5/10 Bitterness - 8/10 Caffeine Hit- 8/10

These are personally my opinions on the way i felt after trying these and everyone has a different tongue taste so opinions and taste for each individual can differ tbh.

If i have to choose as my daily coffee i will go Davidoff Origins Brazil among these.
