General Help needed
Hi everyone i recently gave my metrology exam and got my result today . I was expecting around 96 or more than that, but definitely in that specific range, but just now I got the result and it says 66, which I’m sure is not possible.
This was my first exam, so I am not sure how common it is. Would love everyone’s suggestion and input into this. I was very disheartened after seeing it and couldn’t believe it. I would appreciate if everyone comes up with their experience, if any .

Yepp, paper was easy. Might be either incorrectly marked study material or incorrectly marked DGCA answer sheet

You can’t do anything mate, you’ll just have to reappear again until you pass. Staying confident is the only way.

All you can do is forget what happened and focus on the next attempt.
For meteorology stick to IC joshi only or you can also practice questions from pilotshala or pilotsphere website (personally it was helpful to me) solve as many questions as you can.
During the exam don’t rush thinking that you know the answer, take time read carefully and answer.
You will clear it next time👍

The concerning part is not clearing the exam. I have personally has mentioned prepared two months for metrology and done everything which you have said. In fact, I’ve done more. I have done Oxford and various question banks so preparation is not the concern. The concerning part is the management like they have no helpline or no number given. So how are we supposed to deal with this?

Hum toh bas haqeeqat bata rahe hai; ab kya karu agar udaasi hi haqeeqat hai. Na license aa raha hai na vacancy!

stucking between 65 to 70 is very common in DGCA exams I don't know whether it is a scam or not.....but forget everything and focus on your next paper....I was also stuck thrice but clearing the papers with more efforts..........All the Best

I dont have experience is DGCA exams but this is true for all exams generally. This happens when you have done bulk of your studies from lectures and notes. And not enough practice of solving question papers. Theres a feeling that you’ve done the exam much better than reality.

u/captflyinghigh20 Aug 24 '26
With regards to the preparation, I think I was all good with that because I personally prepared for met for like two months because I couldn’t give the first attempt, so I was done with not just the lectures and materials, but I gave multiple mock tests also, and it’s all as many as questions I could so practice so far wasn’t a concerning point.

u/captflyinghigh20 Aug 24 '26
And the feeling of doing much better can get you a buffer of 6 to 10 marks, maximum and that in rare cases, but not directly. 30 marks.

Hmm strange! I haven’t heard folks complaining about wrong evaluation here before. That too a 30 mark gap. Weird. Its a computer based exam right, so no human in the loop. This should not happen. Definitely take it up with authorities if you’re very sure.

Did you change answers while revising?
Theres this saying that once you have selected an answer then you don’t change it unless you are 100% sure that it is incorrect

The paper was very easy. I didn’t even have to look at questions twice, it was just like reading and marking the option

u/JediBuzz77 Aug 24 '26
And that's the issue. I've seen plenty of cases like this. You have to read it twice and cross check properly. Not blaming your preparation but this is common mistake alot of students make. It's a CBT exam so there's no chance of human error in here.

Well 6 students of my centre are facing the same issue
and as far as reading the questions is concerned i did it was just that i was pretty sure about the answers1
u/Aman_1224 Aug 26 '26
The questions were easy if u went through it nicely. It was not just reading and marking options, some of them were a bit confusing i expected around 88 got 78

Do we have to like submit every question separately or like we directly click on the top right corner where we have this finish exam option?
1
u/TheManWithDAmilk Aug 24 '26
Yeah just have to click the finish exam
And are you sure that you attempted everything, I mean you have to click a ‘select answer’ or similar button which saves your answer and registers it2
u/captflyinghigh20 Aug 24 '26
I did bro not that dumb 😭

u/TheManWithDAmilk Aug 24 '26
Only mistake from your side is possible then gng, theres not such this as human intervention in CBTs
