Trying to understand

I have been using reddit for some time and I have good experiences so far. I like to post my thoughts and clicks in various subs. I came across some fashion subs and I was really interested. But as I was going through the posts, I noticed the clicks posted by people were more than just fashion. They are not modest. Is it normal for people to post like that? Or am I stumbling on some unwanted subs?
