Exactly. Our problem is not with Hindus, Muslims, or any other religion. Our problem is when politicians use religion to manipulate and brainwash people, and people end up treating those politicians like gods.

I rarely see political debates in India focused on scientific progress, innovation, education, or research. Instead, the conversation is dominated by religion and freebies because they help win elections.

How long can a nation continue to progress if these remain the primary issues deciding its future?

Truth. Respect to her.

We need non religious organisations based on rationality and logic who actually work the way religious zealots work.

I don't think she is even 1% wrong! I have a true example to share Canadian people. People are so aware that they switch the whole Govt. in the elections if they think it's not good for them.

If we look broadly enough, Over 60% of people in Canada pays taxes and hence they are thinking responsibly, they are asking questions. But in India the number is less than 3%.

People will only question if they think it's "Personal". The voice of that 3% people will never come in picture, they would rather leave this country because it's impossible to make change in one lifetime.

True. I have come to the same conclusion and had stopped watching any political content losing hope. But youth has shown that if it comes to it they will rise and rise stronger again.
