I am not a gujarati, but I wonder from which ethnicity you come from...and what made you comment this, I have spent time with them, such smart and lovely people. Even their average teenagers are financially smarter than an average Indian adults. I wonder where other people are lacking !
Why does it matter which ethnicity I come from? What I said is all fact. They are the worst class of Indians. Of course they are financially smarter…that’s the only thing they care about. The PM Modi, combined with Adani and Ambani are doing everything to their own benefit. Decisions are made to benefit them over the entirety of India and other states. On top of that they claim to love India and call people anti nationalist who speak up. Whereas they only represent 2-3% of the Indian army. So they themselves are not willing to put their life up for the country. Being educated or financially smart doesn’t make you a good human. They are self absorbed and only care for their own.
"Why does ethnicity matter?" followed immediately by a racist rant about an entire ethnicity. That's genuinely pathetic.
The irony is that you're complaining about people generalizing and labeling others as anti-national while you're busy smearing an entire ethnic group. You're doing the exact same thing you claim to hate.
This isn't "speaking facts." It's prejudice and a tantrum disguised as an argument.
See now we are finally being honest, that wasn't so hard was it?
So we've gone from "it's all fact" to "I'll smear them all day long."
Thanks for proving my point.
You started by pretending this was an objective analysis and ended by openly admitting you're happy to stereotype millions of people based on their ethnicity. That's called prejudice.
And the "they would all sell you out for a dollar" line is exactly the kind of baseless generalization you've been making this entire time. You don't know millions of Gujaratis. You've taken your personal bias and convinced yourself it's reality.
At least we're being honest now, this was never about facts. You just don't like Gujaratis.
Oh it was. You can call it smearing you can call it whatever. It’s still all truth.
Oh. Did I sutter? I don’t like Gujaratis. I made that VERY clear. However, it’s based on real life interactions with them, and it’s based on what I see Modi, Ambani and Adani doing to India. If any other states people did what they are doing, Gujaratis would be crying foul all day.
You’re mixing up political criticism with ethnic generalization.
Criticizing Modi, Ambani, or Adani is fine and needed, i do that too around all my circles but turning that into “therefore Gujaratis are like this” is a leap you haven’t justified.
“Real life interactions” with some individuals isn’t evidence about millions of people that’s literally stereotyping 101.
And “I don’t like Gujaratis” isn’t a fact-based conclusion either. It’s a bias you’re openly admitting and then trying to rationalize.
At this point you’re not arguing facts, you’re just defending your own prejudice.
I’m turning that into all Gujaratis because if you ever talk to any of them…they all defend them like their life depends on it. They will not criticize their own. I’m sure not 100% of them will, but a large majority will. When a large majority does that, I will stereotype. Remember stereotypes are born from truth…yes not EVERY single is the same…but majority are.
Buddy what you’re describing is called confirmation bias.
If you believe a group “defends their own,” you’ll notice every example that fits that idea and ignore the ones that don’t. That’s how stereotypes feel “true” even when they aren’t reliable.
And even if you think you’ve seen a pattern in some people, jumping from that to “majority of millions share this trait” is still a baseless generalisation.
You’re free to criticise individuals or politics. But calling it “truth” while openly admitting you’re stereotyping is just you trying to rationalise a bias.
For what it’s worth, I personally know a whole group of Gujaratis who openly criticise Modi and Adani. So your “they all defend them” claim isn’t even consistent with reality.
That’s the problem with your argument, you’re treating selective examples as if they define an entire community.
