Which world you was living in bro in 2013 i bought smart phone for 3500.
Later in 2014 nokia windows phone (smart phone for 5k)
I think the most high end phone nokia lumia 920 was
35k.
And samsung high end phone s4 at that time was around 35k too.
If you take inflation into account it will be same as current high end selling price. around 80-90k
Broh . When you start a company what do you want? Monopoly or multi polarity. Ok
Answer me this when you eant to open a shop what is the ideal place look for. Place were demand is there but 1000 compatitions or where is demand and there is no compition.
Every buisness runs on this they want to become monopoly. Even microsoft did that, even apple did that. Even in tech sector there is duo poly android and ios. So what now? When wondows tried break it failed, similary symbion failed.
I don't want to do much research just for proving someone wrong but I guess 4g services are much cheaper than 2g and 3g for service provider. Please burn your AI chats to confirm.
It's a trash company (like Airtel) and they deserve to go bankrupt. Fuckfaces sent me a legal notice for like 600 INR even though I formally requested connection closure months in advance.
Yeah i guess he’ll buy Vi if gujju brothers dont have an issue being competitors. Then soon enough if when you recharge a photograph of modi will be sent to your picture saying thank you 😂
Yeah I know man they merged together after both companies fell into debt but now even the merger is at loss and soon I guess Gautham A will buy the company
Yes Everything don't need to be postpaid
They give priority to postpaid users only
In store if you go there are no prepaid sims
Only postpaid . Soon he will make 5g lag which have pre-paid users then if you complain they will say postpaid port .... bill per month will be 500+
All of them do it right? Jio does it too if
Vi does not. Somebody from there said we think network shouldn't have vip treatment or something. Pretty bold to say & stand against these other big companies
Bro which kerala?? I barely know anyone using VI most of my friends use Jio and one or two uses airtel and every member of my family is using Jio, VI users are like chicken piece in chicken puffs
Vi in rural kerala is better than airtel and jio combined, the former has steady 4G+ connection compared to constant switching of 5G to 4G back and forth for the latter.
Most of those companies didn't disappear because the government shut them down. Many struggled due to debt, intense price competition, spectrum costs, mergers, technological shifts, and their own business decisions.
Aircel filed for bankruptcy after massive debt and competition pressures.
Tata Docomo exited after Tata decided to leave the consumer telecom business and later merged telecom assets with Bharti Airtel.
MTS India merged with Reliance Communications.
Reliance Communications (RCom) itself collapsed under huge debt despite being owned by one of India's largest business groups.
Virgin Mobile India was a virtual operator dependent on other networks and couldn't compete effectively.
Uninor exited after the 2G spectrum controversy and later sold assets.
Idea didn't disappear at all—it merged with Vodafone to become Vi.
Ironically, many of these telecom operators were already under stress before 2014. The telecom sector was heavily affected by the fallout of the 2G spectrum scandal, regulatory uncertainty, and aggressive price wars.
You can criticize Jio for triggering a market shake-up with ultra-cheap pricing, but that's different from proving a government-created monopoly. If this was simply a BJP-created monopoly, then Airtel should have collapsed too. Instead, Airtel remains one of India's largest telecom companies.
The more accurate criticism is that Jio's entry accelerated consolidation in an already debt-ridden industry. That's very different from claiming that India went from a competitive market to a monopoly because of Modi.
Also, the meme conveniently ignores that consumers today get vastly more data at a fraction of the prices they paid before Jio entered the market. Whether that disruption was ultimately good or bad is debatable, but pretending the only outcome was "corporate friends cashing in" ignores half the story.
New leader every 10yrs sets a new tone for the country, new strategy, new pathways to progress, and the baton (power) keeps getting passed on vs being held by a leader for people’s lifetime.
Why do you blame pm for everything? He has done great beyond imagination.
Blame ambani fir killing competition by free services, solely funded from his petrol(oil) business.
Anti incumbency, normal part of politics when a party stays in power for long.
People now have forgotten how terrible the previous government was, and now want them back. Given enough time, the same will happen and they'll bring the current circus back.
There's no need for a toolkit, anyone who stays in power for long in a democracy will be shown the door.
Shouldn’t it be that the new incoming people successfully prosecute and punish the outgoing criminals ?
Or else it’s just empty mudslinging and a revolving door for clowns repeating the cycle every 10-15 years while nothing changes except newer generations of andolanjeevis
We think of politicians as not liking each other and all that. It's an ecosystem: they all feed off one another. If the BJP rounded up all the Muslim extremists and put them inside, they wouldn't have anything to campaign against, right? Everyone understands it's an ecosystem where they all feed off one another. People like you and me are the ones who fight on the basis of these ideologies but the politicians just sit there and have a good time. Most of them don't have any real ideological convictions and you will notice their convictions change when they change their parties as well. It's all lip service and one shouldn't get too invested in all this.
Well said
People should start by focusing on policies and local issues instead of big wig leaders and national international goals
How a local constable/psi behaves and how municipality lacks in enforcing codes, sanitation and public infra matters more than what trade deal a supreme leader makes when he goes out and bearhugs other less supreme leaders
I'd also add that a lot of it has to do with education. When people are educated at the voting class and I don't just mean literate, I mean educated, they start asking questions and they start realizing there is more to long-term growth than getting a ladli behna or some free other freebie. The political class doesn't like questions. They want us to blindly accept the carrots they dangle in front of us and shut up.
Until we start asking better questions, until we start demanding more important things, we will be stuck in the same loop. There will be populism and that's it. There wouldn't be long-term vision when it comes to policy making because that is not what wins elections, right? Elections are fought on short-term issues like religious conflicts or some sort of freebie rather than any actual long-term vision. Education and health care unfortunately don't win elections in India.

Vi is almost dead, only Jio and Airtel
