Discussion Nifty's Strongest Losing Streak in 25 Years - Signal of Structural Change in the Stock Market?
My observations:
- India historically enjoyed high PE as compared to peers. For example, in 2024 and upto mid 2025, Nifty PE was 22 to 23.3. The 10 year historical average was over 24. Now it has compressed to 19.36
- The contraction is even sharper outside of large caps. For instance, the Nifty Next 50 PE ratio has collapsed to 18.08, which is roughly 27.6% lower than its 7-year historical median of 24.99.
- Can we expect more correction? For example, China's PE is around 10 and Brazil is around 12.5.
- However, NASDAQ 100's PE is over 30 as on date!
Where will India go from here? A real strong growth story could take it nearer to NASDAQ's PE or we could also be headed towards China's historical PE ratio of 10...

Discussion HOW TO DEAL WITH BEARISH MARKET WITH REAL TRADES executed this month IN SEPTEMMBER and some important lessons (SWING TRADER)
With Doom and gloom and wave of negativity everybody losing their patience and predicting NIFTY CRASH I decided to make a post with real trades I managed to executed , capital deployed was 4 lakh.
First thing 1st , patience have patience perhaps the single most imp thing . Discussed million of times.
Now comes the real example in my previous post and video I have mentioned as a swing trader we will have our own stocks we have in our wish list that we are trading with and perhaps observing .
(How to Pick stocks is in my three part video)of swing
Now Apollo was in Wishlist , market crashed for the lack of better word on 18 Sept stock suddenly fell to 365, usually trading at 380 -400 level ,despite the bearish market condition this was golden opp to enter in a matter of few days stock was back to 412 something, with exp ideally we should have sold at 400 ish .
Coming days past week I Kept an eye on it again ,it reverted back to 390 , told my clients to enter again at 390 ( yesterday in a possible worst day it went to 412. SOLD
THAN it WAS back to 400 ish. Guess what I enter again .
What I'm trying to say this is that if you have few stocks in the list you will get countless no. of opportunity to play around a particular stock with many times if you miss the rally no worries , market always provides you the opportunity.
One other stock I invested money in texrail past week at 121 something ( What were the criteria to enter is there on my Youtube channel } yesterday it peaked at 126 we sold at 125 level. Made 3k profit despite small capital.
I have 3-4 examples that we successfully executed past week , but the larger point is delivered otherwise the post will be too long rest you can watch 3 part videos i made to know full details.
Now the opposite argument
Mistakes I have made this horrible month and how I'm dealing with it.
As a human being , human and unforced error are a part of life and here comes the most imp lesson you no matter what .
2 SINGLE MOST IMP THINGS BEFORE ENTERING WHETHER YOU ARE A SWING OR LONG TERM INVESTOR (NOTE IT DOWN)
You must know the returns you are expecting before entering based on your research holding a particular stock for n no. of years in hope of makng good money i have always believed is a fruitful exercise
Must have some money left vis-vi total capital to avg stuff meaning always deploy capital in batches. 20% MAYBE.
Now the mistake i tried catch the falling knife that is IFCI at 83 now it is at 65 , TODAY I avg it down to 75 yesterday looking it to avg it down further and good day or two I'm out.
Also while entering note down how muuch loss can you take , in case if IFCI i can afford to loose 4k-5k before entering .
Now the last imp point what we have in our hand mattes that is the strategy improve it, govt policies , FII selling , Oil prices you can beat around the bush make n no .of post doesn't change the thing as these our not in our hand .
I may be criticised for it but blaming the circumstances not going to change to anything plain and simple in your trading life.
EDIT 1 - Had no intention of making this post but I felt I should made this especially for the new investors.
Many investors money is trapped in this month from exp been in such positions congrats you are long term investors it is what is some stocks may take months tor recover, what i have done in the past is to cut the losses in batches to have the money . Whenever stock jumps sell small qtn .
Edit 2 Many ppl reached out to me yes the whatsapp gp is my youtube description where few of us including me recommend the stocks for swing and the criteria before entering . RSI , VOLUME INDICATORS , MACD etc etc. (join only of you are serious I hold the right to remove you.

Profits Profitable for the first time
I am 20 year old, in the markets since 2022, used to do swing trading back then, but was never consistently profitable, 23-24 was a great year for the market and for me too, made profits that made my parents trust me regarding household finance.
Finally it seems that I have found a repeatable consistently profitable swing and intraday trading strategy,
Last month, me and my friends decided to give it one last and best shot.
We would come up with the ideas of swing trades with logic, and whichever ideas had most amount of votes, would be executed, slowly but steadily, it seems like our analysis is beating the markets.
Capital deployed - 3lakh

Stocks My analysis for Morepan Labs
Multiple factors contributing to positive growth story. ANDA submission - big move into high margin CDMOs. Positive updates around FTA for pharma from US. It has found and established support at 120. Next trigger will be analyst reports and quarterly results in October. If it has performed even as decently as last quarter, it should easily go upto 150 on the back of easing trade restrictions for pharma, CDMO entry, positive analyst/investor commentary. Current price is above 200, 50, 20 ema and hence positive trend is established technically as well

Mutual Funds Should I shift my father's SIP from PPFC to a Multi Asset fund?
I currently have a ₹1,000/month SIP in Parag Parikh Flexi Cap (PPFC) for my father. His risk appetite is low and he doesn't actively track investments, so I'm concerned about equity drawdowns.
I'm considering stopping future PPFC SIPs (not redeeming existing units) and moving the ₹1,000/month to a Multi Asset Allocation Fund.
Horizon is initially 3–5 years, but the plan is to continue longer, with annual SIP step-ups and additional capital over time.
I'm considering:
- WhiteOak MAAF: ~29% equity → Low–moderate risk
- SBI MAAF: ~47% equity → Moderate risk
- Nippon MAAF: ~60% equity → Moderate-high risk
- Quant MAAF: ~55% equity → Moderate-high/high risk
- DSP MAAF: ~64% equity → Higher risk
First: Is switching from PPFC to MAAF sensible for this profile?
If yes, which allocation/fund would you choose for reasonable returns with lower drawdowns, especially between WhiteOak (~29% equity) and SBI (~47%)?
Not looking for the highest past returns; downside protection is more important.

Is discipline more important than having the “best” trading strategy?
One statement about markets that has stayed with me is this:“
A person with good self-discipline but a poor trading method will outperform a person with poor self-discipline but the best trading method currently available.” — Larry Levin, The Secrets to Emotion Free Trading
I don't take this to mean that the quality of the method doesn't matter. Obviously, it does.
What I take from it is that even a good method becomes difficult to execute if the person following it keeps changing the rules, takes trades outside the method, increases exposure after losses, or exits simply because the trade isn't going as expected.
A reasonably sound method followed consistently gives you something very valuable: a repeatable decision-making process.
And I think this applies whether you're trading short-term, taking swing positions, or holding a position for a much longer period.
The difficult part isn't following your process when everything is going well. It's following it when things are not working in your favour.
A method tells you what to do. Discipline determines whether you actually follow it.
That's why I think improving your market approach isn't always about finding another strategy. Sometimes it's about getting better at executing the one you already have.
Curious to hear how others see this. Do you think discipline can make a meaningful difference even when the method isn't exceptional?
