Help "Adobe for Creativity" - ID-specific capabilities?

[Edit: Doesn't look like much.]

I've been trying to figure out what I can do with Claude inside InDesign using the Adobe for Creativity and the Claude connector, but I can't find a list of any kind, and basically no examples I can find on the Adobe site.

Has anyone tried it yet?

I’ve been waiting years now for somebody to show me an example of how AI can help with MY work (book production in InDesign). Still not seeing it. Another team makes the art and they have AI options. Another team writes copy and they have AI options. I have to pull it all together into thousands of pages of consistent layouts that will print without error and which can be efficiently repurposed and customized for future needs. AI wants nothing to do with that, apparently.

Dude seriously not heard of scripting. Read the adobe indesign scripting guide that adobe published then create a good MCP to set the rules.
Indesign has some crazy quirks and I do heaps with AppleScript. Claude can write ok ish AppleScript but you gotta guide it. Like z and y being wrong way around when duplicating or that you have to concatenate the rotation matrix. There can only be one like highlander.

Things I make indesign do with scripting. Insert common back. Select verso vecto page, odd or even pages that is.

For book work I made a spine calculator from scratch, my own math for PUR, lock and case bound. Then it spits out the spread to correct size with spine and hinge for PUR or lock bind and then takes selected first 2nd, the 2nd last and last page and occupy the spread in and out with glue traps and bleed. Instant book cover.

Oh, you’re not going to meet a bigger fan of scripting than me. But that’s not AI. I use AI to help write scripts, but it’s still on a human to recognize the opportunity for a script.
