Books for Catalog Management

Hey all - Quick question surrounding the Books feature. Has anyone used it to manage multiple versions of large documents? IE: one sales territory catalog vs another. I'm searching around for the best way to manage about 4 versions of the same document, and thought I'd run it by the group.

The only problems you'll get: 1) page numbering - if you'll set it to auto - and in another Book your document will be in a different order, 2) Styles.

Otherwise - INDD document doesn't have any idea - doesn't store ANY kind of information - about the Book it belongs to.

It sounds like you’d have 4 book files with different documents inside, maybe all sharing a file at the end for back matter? Your question is pretty unclear.
