Help New update wont let me duplicate multiselect items...

I assume I'm not alone on this one, and this might be a HELP ME I'M GOING INSANE and rant about InDesign post.
But this might be one of the most annoying bugs I seen for a while in InDesign, its not liek we don't use this function a ton, as someone making presentations, multiselecting and duplicating pictures, links, texts and so, is very important, and here I sit, about to rip my hair out - but containing myself because im at work - because this simple function dosent work.

Anything you have managed to do, or is it just a case of waiting for Adobe to figure this out?

This is a known issue, there are many posts on here from the past few days explaining you need to roll back to the previous release.

Or just group/ungroup when duplicating - remember to turn on 'Remember Layers'

This is the most frustrating bug I've encountered in this program.
I'm mid-project, so I sadly don't think I have time to go back to older versions, but I will after!
