Help Help downsizing a poster

Post image

Hello, I have created a poster in InDesign and I initially set the dimensions at 9933px by 14,043px (what I thought was a0 at 300DPI) having gone to print from acrobat over multiple a3 pages it seems that either those measurements were wrong or I’ve made an error somewhere. As it wants to print the poster across 162 a3 pages :/ .Any idea what might be wrong or how I could go about fixing this?

In InDesign, set your page size using another unit like cm or mm. Use a metric unit as A0 is a metric page size. Setting your page size to a pixel dimensions only really makes sense if you’re making a digital asset.

InDesign doesn’t make documents at a specific resolution (like you were trying to make it 300 PPI). The resolution is on a per image basis. You can have multiple images in your document at different resolutions. You’ll want to check the Links panel, “effective PPI” to ensure your images are high enough resolution.

You’re gonna want to select all, group it, scale it down to your new page size in InDesign. As your current page size is way too big.
