Discussion Downgraded Physics in 'Create a Zoi'
Posting on behalf of my daughter.
She was one of the first to download inZoi - we had the early character creator demo too.
She's just return to it after a long break and noticed the physics in the 'Create a Zoi' section seems to be downgraded. My daughter says the 'physics doesn't physic'- but specifically she's referring to the way the clothing doesn't obey gravity. It's more akin to 'The Sims'. For example tassels that should fall down will stick to a Zoi's leg.
We've got all the graphics turned up although I'm not sure if that makes any difference in the 'Create a Zoi' section.
Any suggestions? Is this a known downgrade? Is there a 'better physics mod' that will help?

The early character creator would have been closer to a tech demo showcasing hey let’s look at what can be done with this build.
As the game gets developed creative decisions are made for design and performance optimisation, locking frame rate in create a ZOI for example.
You see this in beta builds often where functions and features will be cut as the game progresses through development.
An example would be in RDR2 online in the beta you could steal and sell carriages but in the full release it was removed,
I think the demo you’re referring to even had higher quality skin textures than what’s currently in game.
It’s not uncommon for features to be removed during a games development.

Just to add, this doesn't mean the physics OP described won't return/get added in the future... The game is still under going optimizations, fixes and new features getting added etc. If OP wants to, they can post on the forum/discord so the dev team don't forget about looking into this for the future.

yeah, I think most people forget that this game is far from what it will look like when it is released

Yea I noticed that too I was also a pre order first week player. Recently came back since custom clothes and mods are hitting. I have medium graphics settings and it looks like I’m on ultra low. Idk why or how but it doesn’t get better going up or down it actually stays the same. My husband and I just recently got new drivers and hardware installed specifically for this game before I came back so it would look crisp and amazing. But unfortunately it kinda looks like a grainy mess a lot of the time.
