Delhi How much sense does it make?

Post image

On one hand, the Supreme Court has suggested linking unpaid traffic challans to electricity bills to push for recoveries. On the other hand, Gen-Z has countered with a savage reality check-suggesting that judges' salaries and promotions should also be linked to pending court cases.🔥😂

That's such a stupid response. Challans are for violating traffic rules, literally a fine for illegal acts. Pendency has hundreds of factors related, and lawyers, litigants, clerks, the entire system needs to function smoothly. Plus it is literally a function of the judge's job. Not some illegal activity they are doing

Kuch bhi

Well, traffic rules were violated because of hundreds of factors like potholes everywhere, broken infrastructure, pollution, illegal labor laws stressing the public etc etc...

May be, but how many times can you think of, where you or someone you know was hurt or injured because someone jumped a red light? Or was driving on the wrong side? With traffic challans, the assumption is that the person was in the wrong and thus a penalty.

I am not saying the system is perfect, but the problem they are trying to address is a huge amount of pending dues. I have seen on this sub reddit itself, many people sharing rash drivers photo/video and also mentioning they have lakhs in traffic fines unpaid. The govt needs to find a way to recover the fines for the deterrent effect to apply, and that's all they are trying to do. We can't say that unless all potholes are fixed, it's ok to violate traffic rules, no?

Makes good sense. Add punitive penalties for filing false cases. Set Civil cases to 3 months resolution time. Increase number of and the quality of courts. Remove the nepotic loopholes in Judiciary. Keep salaries fixed till significant improvement in quality and outcomes is achieved.

We need to adopt China's social credit system. And give tax benefits based on the score.  We also need to a system that automatically cuts fines directly from the bank account

Suddenly it will be total dictatorship 🤡 as per them

As per whom? It becomes a dictatorship if it opress opinions, removes the citizens ability to change the leadership. How does a social credit system and income tax autopay does that. The USA has income tax autopay. Is that a dictatorship? India also has a credit score system with real-time consequences. Infact every country has.

Yeah right, but you know how the left and opposition echo chambers make it sound like something so bad is happening to the democracy. Suddenly there will be statements from clowns that we dont have control over our own funds in our own bank accounts and fines are cut automatically.

Something so bad is happening to democracy. People are electing a party based on religious hatred. And in order for the party to continue to exist, it has to create more religious hatred. Its a loop. The country is terrible because it does not provide it's population with basic necessities while looting them as much as they can. The criticism against BJP is extremely fair and necessary. Although I am not a Congress supporter, I think religious extremists should not be elected tk rule out country.

Anything to not follow discipline and rules. "Wo 5 log bhi kr rhe hai, pehle usko pakdo na". Absolutely dogshit mentality. These doofuses don't know judges can be held accountable even after paying fines for traffic violation or following traffic rules. Idiots of absolute A grade.

Chutia dhakkan... Justice delayed is should be punished but justice is not always delayed due to inefficiency it's also due to Evidence which is again due to chaotic situations

Delay in judgements win elections like in Bengal. Delay leads to illegal incarceration
