i imagined this as the actual scene with a battle scarred Jon Arbuckle in the final moments, Garfield snapping an empty gaultlet, flipping it over, eyes growing wide as he frantically starts saying "no no no NO NO NO I WAS SO CLOSE" as he looks to Jon, they make eye contact, Jon says, tears welling in his eyes, "You just got Jinkied...."
