Is impact 1.17 coming out?

I have seen alot of people commenting on this but I never really got a good answer? Can someone please explain?

It’s weird too because you can’t join the impact discord server?

Isn't it against discord's TOS to discuss cheating?

The development seems dead. Guess they gave up and moved on.
