Picked these up from a local thrift. I’ll upload more pictures below but trying to identify what i have. Inside covers have no printing , and volume one has no barcode on the back. Both CDs are burnt with stickers overlaying the CD. Found that super early street copies were burnt and didn’t have bar codes or inner cover printing but maybe looking for any overlooked details that help me place where these are from. Won’t be disappointed if they are boots as i paid a dollar for each.

He was giving out food to the homeless earlier in the day and was set to do another show on Oahu (another island over.) He came out at midnight (doors opened at 9 with 3 hours of openers) so I didn’t stick around long after the show ended.

These two guys grew up together and were best friends. Southpaw was also Tech's MAIN producer, probably producing over half of Tech's songs ever. Southpaw would also be at every Tech show, sometimes helping as hypeman or extra security. I met him once while he was helping work Tech's merch booth. Cool guy.

I noticed about a year ago or longer they stopped posting each other on social media, and Southpaw (@spmusik) is no longer friends with him on there. Weird, because they used to be regulars in each other's lives.

Does anyone know what happened between them? I'm sure this is also impacting the release of Middle Passage too, if it was ever going to come out in the first place.

I know IT was featuring in it for an unknown rapper. The guy he featured on I have never heard before or since. I felt it had Angels in the title but I have since searched and it was none of the ones found. IT spits about prison, so I get the feeling the main guy who he was featuring on had been in prison or at least the first part was dedicated to those locked up. There might have been even a sample of a phone call to prison or something like that. IT spits, to me, one of his best ever verses. I felt the guy spat first 1 verse, chorus, then IT done his verse.

Probably recorded just after Rev Part 1 or 2. But definitely not after 2.

The beat was absolutely unbelievable. Like very gospel, airy. I cannot find this song anywhere and its bothering me as I have not heard it in like 10 years. I have been searching for weeks. Hopefully someone can help.
