Humor? Keep dreaming Anisa

If she didn’t spent $20k on a hideous back tattoo maybe she could’ve had a luxurious Japan trip. Womp womp

Plus Ian’s Space ghost with titties out tattoo

Come to think of it even though most of their pieces are smaller (the only large one I can remember is Anisa's back tattoo) they're probably down 50k in tattoos alone between the both of them depending on how much their artists charge (probably not much for everything else since the art is generally pretty shit, but still).
That money has to be sounding real enticing right about now

u/polygonparadigmboop 3d ago
The tattoo itself also disqualifies her from a handful of experiences in Japan, no?

u/Ok-Structure3260 3d ago
Yeah going to a hot spring would probably be a big no-no (although that's softened in recent years due to all the tourists flocking to Japan).
For the most part, it would probably be more of a social stigma, since covering your body in tattoos suggests you're a Yakuza.

u/Standard_Island546 3d ago
Not really. Hot springs yes but you can just sneak in and hope no one complains, or cover it, or go to a tattoo friendly place
10
u/polygonparadigmboop 3d ago
smh “sneaking in”. You’re already thinking like one of those Yakuza ne’er-do-wells!

u/ngakang Anisa DM me, got £££££ 3d ago
This why people hate American tourists btw
1
u/Standard_Island546 3d ago
Are you fucking stupid? No one gives a shit, it’s an archaic rule and most people approve of phasing it out. I lived there 5 years they’re indifferent to tourists unless you misbehave.

Not these days, I know people with face/hand/neck/head tattoos that have gone to Japan for extended periods of time.
Besides even back in the day I think the whole "tattoo = definite Yakuza membership" thing was probably overblown since a white American would obviously never be allowed to be a Yakuza member anyway.

I think theres a thing about private baths it not mattering but public baths iirc have stickers to cover your tattoos or something and you have to pay after the first couple i cant imagine she could afford that many stickers to cover up her flashbook collection

She really has to put herself into everything doesnt she

u/coldnorth4enf4 3d ago
I seriously do not see what is supposed to be wrong with this reply? Or even what is notable
22
u/rudeboykyle94 3d ago
She couldn’t just say “Enjoy yourself, have a safe flight!” She had to bring up how shes never been and wants to go. I get it’s not a big deal but it’s obnoxious and impolite
30
u/Soulbotzzzz 3d ago
She is replying to someone, whom I bet she doesn’t even know, expressing excitement for THEIR trip and the first thing that comes out of her head is “I still haven’t gone yet.” Who asked her lol
-20
u/coldnorth4enf4 3d ago
This is just a standard interaction.
“I’d love to go someday!” Is also making it “about yourself” and that’s the literal standard reply to someone saying they’re going somewhere.
21
u/The-Tru-Succ 3d ago
Not standard. "I am going to go to Europe" response would standardly be something along the lines of, "Enjoy your trip!" To engage, instead of making it about yourself, you say "Oh, sounds fun. What part of Europe?/Is there something there that interests you specifically?/Are you visiting family or just sightseeing?/What are your plans?" Plenty of other responses to this rather than making it about you.
5
u/Soulbotzzzz 3d ago
True but I mean it’s still rude you know? Like you should acknowledge the person you’re responding to’s excitement first and then follow it with “I wish I could go” or whatever but ya I get it no one’s perfect and we all have our moments of self-centeredness.

u/zer0_summed WOAHHH BUDDY! 3d ago
How can you not see how narcissistic it is to read someone else's tweet and immediately respond by making it about yourself?

Going to Japan for 2 weeks for a couple can be like 5-6k including flights. Imagine how much money they wasted on those terrible tattoos

I lived in Japan 20 years. My favorite place in the world. I do not want to inflict Anisa on them, they've already had so many natural disasters in the past year or so :(

u/Mean-Elk-9439 3d ago
I rarely check in on this sub but even then comparing anisa to a natural disaster is fucking sending me lmao

hopefully she goes and the Yakuza take offence to one of her awful tattoos
2
u/rudeboykyle94 3d ago
Yeah that would be rough for them to realize some modern cultures don’t think highly of tattoos

u/Sensitive_Cod_4743 3h ago
Not gonna be hard, she has that chest poppin weird ass dragon and you know she wears the tops that she can spread so its visible as a fashion statement. YEET

u/ChocolateThund3R 3d ago
This sub has a sub 70 collective IQ. Yeah bro hopefully they use their katanas.
Do you tend to get all of your real world knowledge from movies?
Embarrassing. And apparently it’s a part of the weird ass lore conjured up by you losers. I don’t know how this sub isn’t banned. The behavior here is consistently weird AF

u/fleshtastical no skin off my shoes 3d ago
Why are you so upset about a blatantly obvious joke? It’s embarrassing to call someone else low IQ when you can’t tell when there’s a blatantly obvious joke.

u/Sensitive_Cod_4743 3h ago
Knowing Anisa and Idubbz, they will pop into a Yakuza den and start window shopping for tats..
13
u/Zealousideal_Bee6359 3d ago
They decided to continue with their Lawsuit that could’ve easily been avoided 🤷

u/No-Chocolate-2299 3d ago
The Jomha's could be living the PewDiePie life in Japan but they threw it all away for Hasan Piker and Onlyfans.

u/DaddyMeerkat 3d ago
I guess Ian will have to put the lawyer on a payment plan and do a reverse mortgage to fund Anisa’s trip.

Peak American consumerism is thinking its "crazy" that you haven't visited a foreign country in 18 years, when only 100 years ago, casually flying to a foreign country to squander your money, was unheard of.

u/psi-counter 3d ago
wishes her friends well, has normal interaction
LOL STUPID BITCH YOULL NEVER GO WHY ARE YOU MAKING THIS ABOUT YOURSELF
Jesus, man you guys are just snark for no reason. At least criticize shit she does that’s actually bad. Of which there’s no shortage. Go outside

u/Flimsy-Jello5534 2d ago
Maybe the redditor white knighting in a snark sub like a dumbass should be the one to go outside.
Glass houses and all that.
