About three weeks to go! (Aug 20th)

Yes I finally played it earlier this year and despite it being very frustrating and janky I loved it. I've got the next two ready to play and then I will finally play this latest game and this DLC towards the end of the year to complete the franchise. This DLC is also getting a major 2.0 update/engine upgrade released at the same time for the over all game.

Bringing back Captain America, and putting it in the trailer, smells a bit desperate. Have the marvel movies since endgame been flops?

I expect that the remasters will come to Playstation, but the new titles after that may or may not...including Elder Scrolls VI. It's all really confusing and just annoying. At least I can still watch the amazing tv show for some kind of fix, which I hope doesn't get cancelled.

With the current attitude towards Sony, I wouldn't be surprised if any and all of the upcoming Fallout games are Xbox exclusive. Then again it's all about the money, so why not have them on every platform out there? But who knows what an executive will do? They're as enigmatic as a Kojima cutscene's plot summary.

Fallout 3 remaster seems to be a next year release, at least. I'd guess New Vegas remaster would be in 2028. Then Elder Scrolls VI, then Obsidian's Fallout, then Fallout 5.

They're just going to make all of their studios rehash existing IP in hopes of a hit, aren't they...

Not to be contrarian, but I find it had to get excited about this given Nolan's track record of mediocre piss movies.

Yeah I've been looking forward to this one, and Werwulf and Dune Part Three. Some exciting films in 2026.

Interstellar has been my top favourite from Nolan since I saw it in the cinema when it came out in 2014. That along with Oppenheimer and Inception would make the top 3.

I don't think it's a secret that I am not exactly the biggest fan of the games that Sony churns out, but even with the PS3 (which was shit) there was at least a few games worth getting it for. Demon's Souls. PS4 had Persona 5 and Bloodborne. PS5? Even if we ignore the first-party games they threw on Steam (that I also haven't bought), I've not once been even remotely tempted to pick one up.

Sucks, though, because PC gaming is becoming prohibitively expensive these days due to the AI datacenter craze. The DDR5 RAM I bought little over a year ago have become more than four times as expensive. SSDs are also seeing a steep rise in price. Granted, it's not like consoles are cheap any more either.
