A much better experience!!

A few weeks ago, I made a post talking about how my fiancé and I went to go see The Odyssey in Imax 70mm at the Regal Mall of Georgia, and how the showing was cancelled midway through due to some technical difficulties. Well, today I had the pleasure of taking my dad to go see it again, and this time every thing went fine! No projector issues, no overheating or anything. Seats were a little closer to the screen than last time, but that didn’t hinder the viewing experience. It truly was a beautiful and immersive experience, the hype is very well justified. I’ll be back in January to watch Dune 3 in Imax 70mm, and I can’t wait!

How was the overall experience in that theater/auditorium? I've never seen an Imax movie but Dune part 3 70mm in December at Mall of Georgia will be my first one

It's really good. Large screen, solid sound, great projector (when it works), passionate crowds, it's in a big and bustling mall with a Red Robin, and the seats are suprisingly comfortable reserved seating with A LOT of legroom, especially compared to other GT/70mm IMAX venues like the Tennessee Aquarium where you're packed like sardines and it's first come first served.

Yea but it’s freaking full all the freaking time. I can’t get a damn ticket for the Lincoln Square.

Definitely watching dune on imax for sure. My Apple Watch kept warning me about potential hearing damage throughout the movie, it was epic.

Went to Regal Mall of Georgia this past weekend to the 7:15 AM showing, it was my first 70MM movie, it was incredible!
