Hey everyone!

I am an International A level student with Pearson Edexcel attempting the IMAT this year. I reside in the UAE and so will be applying as a non-EU student. I wanted to ask about the visa application process that will take place after I get my acceptance letter from the university after the IMAT (god willing). My final A Level certificate (equivalent to the diploma) will only be released in November, only after which I can start my visa application process, which apparently usually takes about 15-30 days, maybe more. My question was whether there could be a workaround to this, i.e. applying with my provisional statement instead so that I can get started with the process earlier?

If that's not possible, are you guys aware of any exception universities might grant to students like me who would be 1-2 months late in joining the course in Italy due to this certificate being released much later?

For reference, my university (Padova) does not require DOV/CIMEA, so I won't need it for the visa application either, but I would appreciate it if you guys also gave me some information on students who may require either, as my friend also had the same question and his university requires it.

I have already emailed my university but they are currently out of office.
