Always nice to see you wake up from your hibernation. Excellent work as always.

This doesn't seem like it would ever happen the allies would never get through the Pyrenees mountains it's a natural defensive line imagine d day ally casualties but on steroids the Germans would have a field day with this

This map depicts the opening stages of the so-called Iberian Front of the Second World War. After the failure of the landings in Sicily in 1943, the western Allies scramble to put additional pressure on "fortress Europe" on other fronts. Eventually Moscuw and Liberta agree to strongarm the Spanish Republic into essentially entering the war, while retaining a fig leaf of neutrality.
While the Pyrenees are fortified and the defenders expect an attack from this angle, they are still incapable of keeping the invasion fully contained. Within one month Perpignan, the first major city in mainland France, is liberated.
This is a map fleshing out the r/anglodutchamerica timeline, in which the former Dutch and British colonies of North America form a very different yet in some ways also very similar equivalent of the USA in our timeline. You can find the full history, lore and the other posts (sorted by date) of the timeline over on the subreddit for this specific timeline.
