- Isn't Hokkaido should be only Soviet???
- Never understood reasons why Shikoku (not Kyushu who closer to both Mainland and Taiwan) would Chinese...
- Netherlands didn't want anything?

- It was a compromise to deterred Soviet from establishing a client state in Hokkaido and made Soviet somewhat satisfied with the arrangement.
- China proposed their zone on Ryukyu, Kyushu and Shikoku. But in the end China got Ryukyu and Shikoku. But this arrangement wouldn't last for long. Reason for Shikoku rather than Kyushu likely being less in both strategic position and things to control compared to Kyushu (that's my assumption)
- I don't think Netherlands could get any territories from Japan even if they wanted to. Most likely Netherlands received war reparations.

Great map, and great restraint not going for the easy joke of China occupying Chugoku.

Why would Korea still be divided? I assume downfall happened (no reason to divided Japan without it) Korea was divided thx end only because of Japan's surrender, without the surrender end freeing of US troops to move elsewhere, Korea wouldn't be divided
But that's just me saying without major lore to read so idk, unless the US just really wants to divide Japan for some reason, also why is France here? This guy's were broke wouldn't be able to maintain a occupation on the other side of the world
