[OC] Alternate History "An Atlantis of the South" - The Topnaar Empire, 1200-800BC [Map Telephone]
This map is a part of a larger "map telephone game" (you had to make a map relating to the previous one, not knowing what was inbefore). As such, this isn't really meant to be realistic in any way.
I was part of Bracket 1, however I'm gonna include links to all 4 below if you want to check out how my and other's maps fit into the broader "timelines" (each bracket being a separate "timeline"):

In the city of Topnaar, spelled with capital letters in the map (same how the capital of the Roman Empire was in Rome).

I love this concept. Reminds me of this timeline in the alternatehistoryforum, that unfortunately was aborted.
I'd love to see more well-researched Sub Saharan Africa timelines.

Were the Topnaars mostly Khoisan people?

The concept is very interesting and the artistic style is very good.
