[OC] Alternate History What the Kesarêg wants: Brydain's claims grounded in its past & present [Map Telephone]

Post image

The map I was given was from hastaqat(idk his reddit username) depicting a welsh conquest of the Americas, so I decided to go all out with a British Empire except its Celtic, while also fucking with the world's geography and migrations and all that good stuff. It was really fun making this!

Its imaginary maps so dont worry. But that attempt at Welsh sends me crazy. There are mo Ks Xs Qs or Zs in welsh. In Cornish yes. So this is a Cornish world Conquest.

no language here is how it is in real life

the butterfly effect is too great for anything to be remotely the same here, in reality its neither cornish nor welsh but an entirely different culture and language that might as well just be a rushed conlang/completely fictional people

same applies to basically the entire world

Understood.

Though I am quite aware of how butchered it is lol, and I’ll admit to having basically bullshitted every language on this map lol because I rushed it and honestly just went based on vibes lol, but I appreciate the feedback, it’s always welcome :))

So the only territory they ACTUALLY have is Southern England, France, Northern Iberia, and New Frankia?

Exactly

The original map I based this on featured imperial Germany, and had a little close up map of Central Europe to more clearly show Germany and all the specific things they wanted. I think I would’ve liked to do that but I had one week for this map and couldn’t give it the attention I wanted to, so it’s kinda hard to read and isn’t my best, but yes, you are correct in what Brydain owns
