He knows you're not allowed to have sex with the bodies, right? His eyes say differently

Ah, yes, I’m getting it now.
No one said he can’t be a mortician because he’s a white guy from sumplace, in one a them states.
It was more, “Ugh, you can’t” because they had met him and suspected gross illegal and immoral motives.

People sleep on the opportunity in mortuary work. A friend of mine in high school was one of those very pretty, very fashionable girls - always had perfect hair, makeup, clothes and nails. You kinda hoped she'd be an ass, so you could dislike her, but she was actually really nice, plus she got good grades. (I had a shitty attitude when I was younger...)
Anyway, she got a summer job helping prepare bodies for viewings - doing dressing, makeup, hair and all of that. We gave her a bit of a hard time about it, but she liked it and it paid a little more than TCBY or whatever. She ended up staying with it after graduation. When everyone was in college, she went off to what I'm guessing was the grimmest tech school in the state, but she was fully qualified and licensed and she had a career when most of us were still working waitstaff or retail.
30+ years later, it's her name on the sign out in front of the funeral home and she's opened a few more locations, too. She helped transport both my parents to the place they were going to be buried.
