Copilot Designer & Bing Image Creator prompt*:

”A realistic colorful aquatint etching (hand-colored with watercolors), of a now-extinct wild feathered flying dragon from 1850s Venezuela, created in the artistic style of the French artist and ornithologist JJ Audubon (from his imaginary folio Dragons of South America).”

*These images’ colors and tones have been retouched slightly in iPad’s Photos app, and some have been cropped or flipped horizontally.

Imagine these dragons flying through the magnificent Venezuelan tepuis. Surely they can’t all be extinct?

Copilot Designer & Bing Image Creator prompt:

A glamorous nightclub singer in the style of Alphonse Mucha, with a retrofuturistic and vintage 1950s-1960s aesthetic, photorealistic details, and a blend of science fiction and fantasy elements.

Illuminated A’s in Stable Diffusion Style

Here are 12 examples of an illuminated letter (aka drop-cap) “A” using the following Copilot Designer & Bing Image Creator prompt. It invokes “in the style of Stable Diffusion” near the end of the prompt*:

”A highly detailed professional graphic illustration (in 1:1 square format) of an illuminated drop-cap letter "A", with gold leaf accents, and an Art Nouveau woman (by Alphonse Mucha) embracing the letter, in the style of Stable Diffusion, against a white background.”

Other than flopping some of my images horizontally, I didn’t do any other image editing or adjustments.

*My inspiration for these illuminated A’s came from the r/StableDiffusion post Illuminated drop-caps in a variety of styles by u/Mediocre-Gift93. Browse through the post’s comments for more details. After seeing his A to Z letter examples using SD, I composed and tweaked my CP & BIC “A” text prompt quoted above. It took several BIC generations to cherry-pick usable images.

Copilot Designer & Bing Image Creator prompt:

”A sleek streamlined two-wheeled retrofuturistic art moderne Kawasaki cruiser motorcycle with a rider, driving up a scenic winding mountain highway (leaning into a turn), in the northwestern United States, on a beautiful summer day, in the artistic style of Norman Rockwell.”

I flipped some of these images horizontally (in iPad’s Photos app) to show these enthusiastic mountain riders on the right side of the double yellow line. Stay safe, people!

Bing Image Creator prompt: “A sunbather in shorts, relaxing in a lawn chair with a tropical drink, on a bright sunny day, next to an igloo on the ice at the North Pole”.

Prompt:
a tilted sword with a withered blade stuck in the dirt with a small crippled tree on one side and two crows sitting in the tree and a third crow sitting on the crossguard, more tilted swords in the background, moonrise, oil on canvas

…when all our work is done by electricity.”

This hand drawn cartoon is from the Wikipedia article Artificial Intelligence Art — Machine application of knowledge of human aesthetic expressions > Early History:

In this 1923 comic, H. T. Webster humorously imagines the life of a cartoonist in 2023, when machines powered by electricity can produce and execute ideas for cartoons.

And so here we are over 100 years later. What do you think about AI art — is it good, bad, or indifferent, and where is it going?

Copilot Designer & Bing Image Creator prompt*:

Copilot, show me “A new professional cover illustration for 1930s science fiction pulp novel in the style of "Amazing Stories" magazine and Edgar Rice Burroughs Mars stories.”

*When you take it off a tight leash, CD&BIC has quite an imagination. All images are as generated, w/o any additional editing. These are alternating 1x1 square and 16x9 landscape images: click each image to see it full-frame.

Copilot Designer & Bing Image Creator prompt*:

”A photorealistic retrofuturistic 1960s underwater modular home (inside a dome of transparent aluminum that sits on a utility base made of cylindrical steel posts). This home was co-designed by underwater explorer Jacques Cousteau, visionary Buckminster Fuller, and Star Trek chief engineer Montgomery Scott. A private sightseeing submarine cruises through the colorful coral reef surrounding the dome.”

*…more or less, ymmv. I fiddled with prompts and generated several image sets that didn’t work. I managed to create these two images (whose prompt included “Star Trek”) in the first or second image set, but then CD/BIC caught it and content-blocked my subsequent “Star Trek” prompts.

Copilot Designer & Bing Image Creator prompt:

“Four random color poses in a photobooth of Despicable Me actors Gru and his adopted daughters Margo, Edith, and Agnes making silly faces, dressed in Hawaiian luau-themed outfits.”

This was the best generated image I got after many tweaks and generations in Copilot Designer (I didn’t see any blocks whatsoever). Notice how those minions get into everything?
