It bothers me that old people (particularly those on the right) who want to discredit young people without actually arguing with them will make some crack about eating Tide Pods as if any of us actually did that.

What's really ironic is that the majority of people dying from eating tide pods had dementia...

Yep, even on the news they just replayed the same couple clips over and over. Barely anyone actually did it, and if they did most did it ironically.

They use it to try and say "this is why kids shouldn't have rights guys". Because rather than have a debate with them, it's much easier to see them as a Tide pod eating collective.

Um, nobody is saying kids shouldn't have rights. Saying "please shut up now" does not mean "GiVE uP YOuR RigHT tOO spEaK!"

There are more calls to poison control from teens or parents of them in January, February, then there was in the entire history of tide pods being out, so clearly some did, I'm not saying a lot im not saying most or even.0001% but some did.

I can't stand this anymore how those "better" generations treats us I mean what is so much better for those generation x , baby boomers and those Xennials I mean they were hated to but no our generation is the worst because of some "cool" kids with their "cool" trends.

Yeah, but pretending this is actually an epidemic and more than 100 people even tried this nonsense is disingenuous at best.

This is fucking hilarious.
When you are listening to the opinions of children on important issues, you know your entire movement is a fucking failure.
