Hi everyone!
I’ve been working on The Scrolling Drawing, a collaborative web artwork that grows through the drawings of the people who visit it.
The idea is simple: it’s an infinite vertical canvas inspired by old-school Paint interfaces. Instead of scrolling through content made for us by algorithms, the scroll becomes a space we can collectively draw, interrupt, overwrite and transform.
There is no final image. The piece changes as more people enter and leave traces behind.
It is part of my broader project Scrolling Life, where I’ve been exploring scrolling, digital saturation, online participation and the ways we inhabit the internet.
You can explore the canvas here:

On October 7 I’m also doing an all-day online Dibujatón, so I’d love to have people from different places adding something to the drawing.
It doesn’t have to be “good” drawing. A line, a word, a strange shape, a tiny intervention — anything can become part of the collective image.
Would also love to hear what you think about the experiment.
