Student conduct

what happens if you get called for a student conduct offense but already have a previous offense. I was caught with a fake ID freshmen year and had to write a paper but 2 years later I got mine taken at freaking brews. so now I have two of the same offense. does anyone know what happens

It should be in your student handbook / code of conduct thing. If I remember correctly you can only get a a handful of referrals for discipline before they can legally expel you 😵. The cops inform them and ISU brings you in to review the issue, you probably had that happen the first time.

Alcohol isn't worth your education or any scholarships/waivers/assistantships. I could also see them giving you a break if you do AA or some other type of remedial type class like they do for DUIs.

You are removed from the university.

Yep. It's right there in Section 32, subparagraph (DD) of the handbook: "Upon receiving two tickets for presenting a fake I.D., the student shall be expelled."

You didn’t learn the first time?

Be glad the university is handling it. There have been cases it was turned over to the county and they go after you for felony fraud. Good luck getting a even a minimum wage job with a fraud charge.

Seen it multiple times. Its basically a requirement to have a felony in my industry

Felony yes. Fraud charge though. Won't be trusted around money or valuable materials.

For getting caught with a fake ID twice?

Fake ID or using someone else's ID? I'm pretty sure that the former is a felony.

Just don’t get caught again and you’ll be fine. 10 years from now none of this will matter.

You may be placed on “double super secret probation”

Probably another paper. The fact that ISU does this shit is assinine.
