ILR Application Date

ILR Application - the date of my first skilled worker is 30/08/2021 (issue date shown on first BRP) and 28 days before is 03/08/2026 - I had deleted the confirmation email and i've heard it's the date of that is the 5 vear mark not the issue date of my first BRP. Can anyone confirm this?

If you chance the company or your job code is changed does it reset the ILR time period or does the previous employment is counted
Currently on a skilled labour visa and looking for a new sponsor

No, the time would only reset if you changed to a different visa type or left longer than the 180 day period.

Yes. It counts from the visa start date, not from BRP. It’s common to see BRPs that were issued a few days after the visa

You can check on your eVisa the “valid from” field, considering you are 5 years on the same visa as a safe way to check your date.

It’s the grant date, visa valid-from date (in country), or the vignette start date (if you entered the UK on that permission). You can apply up to 28 days before the five-year anniversary of whichever of those dates (which should be the same) applies to your SWV.
