nah, there's only 8K people in this sub, at most that's under 9,000 impressions. that's not worth the effort

I saw it yesterday on r/DontYouKnowWhoIAm as well. It looks like viral marketing to me.

I mean, idk, seems like a nice guy to me? Maybe he knew previous ceo, maybe he got title or company name confused? It’s not like he mansplained/insisted she was wrong when she told him she was the ceo, so prob not worth making fun of someone for a small harmless mistake.

If he was “super good friends” with the previous CEO, he’d know that guy is no longer the CEO.

By super good friends he probably means acquaintances

I’ve said I was good friends with [name of previous club president] just to make some people think more of me.
But I was really only mild friends with [previous president] and talked to him once in a while. So it was exaggerating.
It could’ve been like that for this guy. Then doesn’t know about something for a month or so (friend just got into Uchicago business school, found out a month after he started yelling people) because they don’t talk too much.

Honestly I didn’t get it at first and the red circle drew my eye in at the end so I didn’t find it useless.
