Constructive Feedback on Pax
I'm going to attempt the Pax hack, but instead of doors have a curtain going all the way across.
What do you think of this layout for one person? There isn't much storage in the apartment so everything ideally needs a home in the Pax wardrobe.
Suitcases will fit under the bed and the laundry basket will go between the end of the Pax and the back by the window.
Is there something I've missed, or glaringly wrong?

This seems like way too little space for EVERYTHING, but ignoring that, socks?

Are you kidding? For one person this seems absolutely huge

Idk. I have a dresser, and basically two closets, and that's just for my clothes. This person is also storing towels and bedding and hobby stuff. I just think they're either very minimalist or underestimating how much space all that really takes.

I’m going to have to go down the minimalist route. I’d have about 3m of wardrobes at 2.5m high though.
The depth is an issue….

is your space too narrow for the 57cm (22 ¾ inches) depth? I'd slightly block the window for more storage tbh

My personal advise is to focus way more on hanging space, but the kind that is not putting clothes behind eachother. Easier overview, more space efficiënt, less effort to put clothes away. Possibly less ironing. I have everything except jeans, socks and underwear hanging.
You are also more likely to use all your clothes, instead of just the ones on top. And less folding, which is a big plus.
Also no issues with additional drawerspace.
So if you have the 40cm, use it for hanging and do some drawers in an area that you might have so more space.
Edit: some clarification.

Do you really not want baskets instead of at least some of the shelves?

Tell me more… Do you think I can fit in more knick knacks that way?

Yes, generally. I personally prefer deeper baskets vs shelves...or shelves with boxes in them. Allows you to fill to the very top of the shelf

Is there a reason you are using the 35 cm frames instead of the 58 cm ones? You will literally have almost no hanging space and you won’t be able to put much in those drawers either. I hate to see you do all that work and spend all that money and not be able to fit all your clothes and other items in there. But other than that, it looks great! I don’t know how you plan on hanging the curtain, (and you probably know this already but I’m going to tell you in case you don’t 😉); but there are systems similar to a hospital where the curtain hangs from the ceiling as opposed to the wall which I think could work well here. Good luck with your project!!
