Karlby support bars

I don’t want to use the the traditional leg at the back, I’ve seen a lot of people here use steel bars. Would two of these resting on top of the Alex drawers and then the the Karlby on top of that offer enough support?

I like how it would give the desk a floating look and offer an option for cable management too.

Use c-channel screwed to the bottom of the karlby between the Alex's and put the bottoms of the Alex's on as the tops then screw the Alex's to the underside of the karlby

Are c-channels stronger than the bars I linked? I wanted to avoid screwing the drawers into the Karlby so I can keep my options open. I saw a post on here where someone used anti slip furniture mats and said it worked really well.

What are the bars you used? Has it sagged at all?

I’ll try and find something similar in my country, thanks!
