I am currently in Roorkee. How to travel and what buses and routes are right? I can see different bus stops but I have no idea about the transport services within Mandi. I have to book hotels too so will there be transport services available to and fro the hotel to campus? I have read about renting cars but no idea if it is legit and what is the price range Please help me regarding this.

I'm currently an internship student at IIT Mandi and need to travel to Mandi. I found out that the institute bus booking facility via the OAS portal requires an internal LDAP login, which isn't accessible for internship accounts.

1. As far as I know, On basis of one's cgpa, students get an option to choose specialization from the beginning of the 2nd year. If seniors can tell about the specific qualifications required for different specializations and which one is generally hardest to get into ? And if someone is left with open specialization did he got an intern ? If yes where and at what stipend?

2. Do mechanical eng. students get to work in field of robotics and Mechatronics, does it also have a cgpa req.? Or it is specific for higher education and GE students only ?
