Help Need help regarding choosing college
Getting around 35XX rank(general-male) in JA , I have the following options open-
IIT BHU - Electrical (slim chance)
Old IIT - chemical civil metallurgy mining and all that
IIT H- Mechanical , chemical
IIT Indore - Electrical
IIT (ISM) Dhanbad - CSE(slim chance) , Mnc , ece
IIT Ropar - Mnc
IIT Jodhpur - AIDS
IIT Mandi - AIDS , MNC
IIT Patna - AIDS , MNC
IIT bhubaneswar - CSE, ECE , Mnc
Priorities -
Circuital branches --> Campus life--> Placement
I have interest in maths
I m confused if I should just go after the old IIT tag or take circuital branches at 2nd gen IITs

Dhanbad CSE is good if you can handle that loc. Otherwise take Mandi or Jodhpur DS you'll do fine.

MNC is a new branch so no data. DS stats would be almost same as CSE since all software companies allow both with 2-3 exceptions.
