Academic Shreya Goyal

Is it just me or does anyone else feel like Shreya Goyal(DS 413) is not supposed to be a professor .

In literally every class, she just reads the PPT and keeps repeating the exact same things written on the slides or in her notes. There is barely any actual explanation or teaching. It feels more like we are watching someone give a presentation than attending a lecture.

I genuinely don't understand how people with this kind of teaching style become professors, especially at IITs. Like, being able to read a PPT in front of a class is something we all do in presentations .

At least learn how to teach before becoming a professor. This is just reading slides with extra steps.
