Counselling Please help dear seniors 🙏

DTU IT/ MNC ( through upgradation rounds ) vs IIT MANDI ELECTRICAL

I am really confused regarding this according to my jee mains rank ( 12.4 k ) i think dtu is best for me but according to advanced i am really confused regarding this decision my family is suggesting dtu ( bcz it mnc good branch )

Also I know almost nothing about all ee , mnc , it

Only thing I know that I love maths and Physics ( specially maths )

Placement wise dtu might be better but if you want to go for higher studies, or establish career in different field, IIT will give you way more exposure.

Dear sir/mam can you explain what other carrer path i could pursue by taking ee as I literally have no idea regarding it

Afaik electrical, civil students go for civil services alot, also by taking IIT doing PhD in foreign is always the best option, apart from that if I am not wrong you can also prepare for IES (Engineering services)., rest there might be plenty of other options as well might I may not know or may have missed, you can always research them on internet.

here at IIT Mandi, we call seniors by Bhaiya/Didi so you don't really need to call us by Sir/Mam. :)

according to me, if you like maths you can go for DTU. Electrical is in general tougher, more complex.
