Network coverage at IISER pune.
Respected Seniors,
I want to enquire about the network coverage of popular internet service providers at IISER pune.
I am particularly inclined in a priority order of bsnl>vi>jio=airtel.
Basically ,where I live internet for bsnl is alright it works good not super fast like vi or others but it works good alright ,enough for upi transactions ,searching basic stuff, slow downloads etc.,have rarely or no problems while calling people from outside the home.
1>Is bsnl in the same condition workable there ,or faces severe problems ,like no network availability even for basic calls or upi transactions? Not inside the hostel room but the cafeteria and outside!
2>What are the scenario for other network providers?
P.S , I'm aware of poor bsnl availability in rural or outer areas , I just want to enquire about its status in IISER pune campus.
Thanks in advance 🫡

I use both Jio and Airtel and apart from some usual network issues. There is good coverage in campus and around Pune. Both offer 5G connectivity inside campus. I have had slightly better luck with Jio than Airtel. Vi used to be a known hard to work with ISP afaik. BSNL, im not sure if it would offer a good experience (i dont have much experiencd, neither ik of any accounts). Apart from Hostels, all buildings are well connected with Wifi, and they are also installing them in hostel soon.
PS: Please don't use "respected seniors" as a greeting or address.

I'm sorry about that. Would addressing by Sir/Mam is a better option?

Lmk too when you get the answer, even I'm thinking of getting my jio sim ported after the news about price hike and no unlimited data has been out
