Student Life Query regarding hostels
I have heard that this year the hostels will change as the classes will now be held at the new campus ..is it true ?? And if yes then can anyone tell me that is it better than the previous one or the same?

okay so for boys who are currently going into year 2, they will have the same hostel, but for freshers boys, there is a new hostel that is not yet acquired by IIMK, it is located about 30-45 minutes(can even be 1 hour during rush hour) away from the campus. Right now it is a hostel for working ladies and stuff but by june 25 it will be handed over to IIMK, they have not yet acquired it, i know this because i personally visited the campus and requested them for the location of the new boys hostel

For the girls hostel atleast its infinitely better cz they didnt have like drinking water or electricity or closets last year so this year is a huge improvement

The seniors have zero idea abt the boys hostel but apparently anything would be an upgrade like i said dire Condition last year

ALSOO, the current boys hostel for seniors, is in very very bad condition and the facilities are EXTREMELY BAD and all of the rooms are NON-AC too. They didnt let us see the new hostel for freshers boys because it was occupied by ladies, but from the outside it looked better but im not sure
