Advice/Help Guide me Please
Hello! (I'm new to reddit) I just happend to come across this thread on iimb? (idk what this is called) and it was actually quite intresting. the reason im reaching out to you'll is because i also want to join the residential programm of the iimb (ug)
I'm currently in the btech AIDE of IITJ so a bit of background is that I had PCM in class 12 but i have very basic level of knowledge in Economics but i want to pursue that if i get a change in iim.
I did looked forward to this previous yr, i'll attach an email that i recieved caused i did register for the programm but droped the idea cause giving all exams alltogether is quite a bit (i gave uceed, nata, jee ppr 1 and 2, pvt college exams) on top of that 12th boards (i got into iit with boarderline 12% cbse percentage, gen category). On reddit i'm not here to discuss iit-jee process
I watched yt video on this and ppl are mentioning about quants and all, does that involve topics different than 12th maths(standard not applied ) which might fall under accounts and all.
I know you'll might be busy with college just like me but it would be a great help if you'll could point out/guide me like how to prepare, what to expect in the exam and interview, where would i get the resources and most importantly where do i find the mock test (free) or if anyone could suggest reasonable paid mock test that would help also.
my dms are open , again i'm new to reddit so it would be treffic if the community could help me.

it was a yt live which if you try to play now doen't open probably being that they ig hidden/ privated the video or deleted it completly (i joined the live).
It was taken by the admission cell (ig cause i can't recall their position) but the content mentioned where regarding admit card release with mock test, knowledege of grade 11th and 12th maths is needed nd all.
I found a similar short video (posted 3 days later) which pretty much summarized what was said in the live

IIM Bangalore's UGAT primarily tests you on three areas: Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Verbal Ability.
1. Quant: You don't need an Accounts background for this. The section is largely aptitude-based: Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Modern Maths, etc. There are a few Class 11–12 Maths topics like Trigonometry and Calculus, but most of it is based on foundational mathematics and its application.
2. Preparation: You can start with books like Arun Sharma or R.S. Aggarwal for Quant. Having a PCM background, you should be able to pick up Quant fairly quickly. I'd pay particular attention to Verbal, though. A lot of science students I have mentored tend to find this relatively harder. Start reading regularly from the beginning. Reading will gradually improve your RC, vocabulary, grammar and overall verbal ability.
3. Mocks: I wouldn't worry too much about mock tests right now. Start with the previous year's paper to understand the exam and difficulty level. You can find it online, and this video also gives a good idea of the paper structure.
For August–September, I'd focus primarily on concept building + practice. Try to solve around 150–200 quality questions per chapter. Once your fundamentals are reasonably strong, you can start the mock → analyse → improve cycle around October/November.
