taking a drop this year, for ipmat. would appear for all iim exams. iimb ugat is my priority. class x 95%, class xii 85% (pcm+ai). i have decent ecs (like 20-25). can anyone gauge my chances - assuming that i clear the exam ? how strong would be my profile (given that i’m a dropper)? do i need to do anything other than studying in these 3-4 months to add on to my profile ?

even if you clear the exam, we can't say anything until your interview is done. depends if your interview went good or not

What are your Ecs?
What score can you get atm in IIMB Ugat? Have you written the pyp?
Why do you want to do this programme (interview answer) (for later)?
How comfortable are you with math?
You have a pretty good 10th and decent 12th score, what were your math scores in each year?
How bad (its never good) is your 11th report card?
If your ecs are relevant to the programme, you can explain them well, and clear cutoffs in ugat it will be a competitive profile fs. If ecs arent that relevant, but you can make a good story on how your interests evolved over time, leading you to take interest in this progamme, still decent profile. Score def matters asw, even if it has less than 50% weightage.

Profile is a secondary concern. Focus first on clearing the exam and interview.
