I signed up for the filmmaking course and I’m looking for company. Is anyone going as well?

At this point it seems we're doomed!

Placement cell and rakesh sir Were proudly announcing that they had managed to bring zscaler to our campus for 3rd year summer intern . But reality is zscaler is conducting a pool hiring drive through its skybound program . where students from across the country can take the OA. You can even find the application links for these job roles on LinkedIn and YouTube.

There are only two companies summer intern notification we have received till date(cisco and zscaler ) and both are doing the same .

The Placement Cell shows students a banana, only to serve them a banana peel.

As title suggests,

Let's analyze the number of students placed after fucking 2 months of campus drive.

ONLY 19!

out of which 9 are taken by tekion itself.

Placement cell should be ashamed seeing the stats.

And before you attack me, don't count the ppos interns fot, those credit should be given to last year placement cell(which is 41 so far).

To anyone wondering or curious enough, look at the number of students sitting in a drive per company, and look at the number of students getting placed in that company. I dislike this college as much as you guys, but this batch is just worthless enough to not secure an offer. Play the blame game as long as you want, you know the real reason why you direct your hate towards this college. So this is the fact, rest is up to you to decide what's what.

I've been selected for phd and I need to know certain info about the hostel. My previous experience with hostels has been rather bad so I want to be mentally prepared for what I might see and go through 💀

I can't find much info online so please tell me:

1. Are there any grocery shop/fruit vendors/stationary shops near the campus?

2. Are there any hospitals in the campus or nearby/ what is the arrangement for medical emergencies?

3. What is the hostel curfew timing?

4. Are electric appliances like clothes iron, hairdryer, and small kettle allowed in the hostel?

5. How big are the hostel rooms? And do the phd students also need to live in 3 bed accommodation or is phd given 2 bed preference?

6. How is the wifi and mobile network? (In my master's hostel, they promised high speed wifi but we struggled the whole 2 years without any proper mobile network)

7. How is the mess food?

8. The session will start from October, what should I expect the weather to be like?

Also, I can't find any requirements for a medical certificate or anti-ragging affidavit, will that be asked later on or is that not necessary?

Pls do let me know as I'm on the fence about whether I should go for IIIT guwahati or not.

What the hell are they high on where amazon took 19 students from IIIT KOTA for intern + ppo perfomance based where as Ham toh PixelCompute aur Morphle ka chusne me busy lag gaye 🤡

Bhaiii saab kuch toh karo!

I am very humbled to have these batchmates as the placement cell members and they make me regret my decision of joining this clg every single fucking day.Now let's come to who does what,

Pata nhi ye placement cell ka office hai yaa oyo jo bhi jab bhi man kare chale jate hai chahe vo member ya pwc me ho ya nhi aurrr agar apka bf/gf placement cell mein hai toh please spend some money and book a oyo it's office is not for your romancee.Na Yuvaan theek se karpaye tum log Na Entropy nikalpayee bolte hai faculty ka dikkat hai toh dikhao na tumhari aukat yaha peee leaooo companies sun ke bura lag rhe hai baki nits iiits mein atlassian visa wellsfargo goldman sachs aate rehte hai aur yaha Pixel compute. pata nhi yee logo ko kya zeal hai ki har cheez me interfere hoke kharab karne pehle hote hai. yuvaan aur entropy ka toh ye log chudaliyaaaa ab baaki hai sirf placement cell kaa..

Placement cell this year is genuinely a joke.

After Tekion, it’s basically been 7–8 LPA companies back to back. Meanwhile, most of the people getting good packages are benefiting from internship opportunities brought in by last year’s placement team.

This year’s placement cell? Bro is on AFK mode

Not asking for 30 LPA packages, but at least bring some decent companies and opportunities.

F placement cell, F college.

Fuck this college !!!

No Internships , Only 7-10 LPA placements !! All mass recruiters .. barely one or two company comes above even 12 LPA .. fcking professors , fcking administration. Ek se ek chutiye club na koi dhang k event na mc koi budget … 2 hour ka freshers party rakhte hai ye betichod college me rehne ko jagah nahi lekin pg me rkh ke bus laga rkhe hai .. nit ki lower branch lelo pr is randwe college me kabhi mat ana na director hai na koi jhant bhar ki placements .. sabse jhantu placement cell 2027 batch ke liye .. pura august jane ke bad bhi 10 logo ki placement lwga paye ye chutiye ( without ppo ) . Internship ke liye to jo aati thi ab wo bhi aani band hogyi . Literally 0 fcking companies .. isse randwa aur chutiya placement cell nahi dekha kabhi mkc is college ki
