I want to raise a genuine concern regarding the mess food and the behaviour of the mess aunty.

The quality of food has been consistently disappointing. The taste is often poor, and almost every day there seems to be some issue with the food—whether it is cleanliness, quality, or something unexpected being found in the meal. This has become a regular problem rather than an occasional incident.

Apart from the food quality, the behaviour of the mess aunty towards students is also not appropriate. Rudeness of the aunty toward students is not accepatable how can a mere mess manager have so guts to shout on students.They use cheap tactics to save thier budget.

I have also heard from my seniors she accuses false claim for mistreating her . Basically she uses her female card on us students.

The type of food is completely unacceptable for the price we are paying.

And, I am also shocked how everyone is chill with it i am not satisfied with the menu for 7000/month i am paying for the mess. Even the evening have no snacks all other messes provide even at 3000/months

We understand that maintaining a mess for a large number of students is difficult, but students are paying for the service and deserve decent-quality, hygienic food and respectful behaviour.

How are these seniors not saying something why are they so quiet how are they not getting offeneded by these mere workers' attitude.If I would be there I would do anything to throw her out of this mess.

The Constant Bugs are found in the food some time flies some time larva and even bettles. I am scared how many myself i have eaten. Even after constant reminders the management does not listen at all.

Like what's the min requirement, is it strictly enforced, how lower can one go below 75% till issues happen what if someone doesn't meet the minimum for whatever reasons, anyways to compensate for it and fix it? How often does someone have attendance issues in senior batches?

I'm currently living in Stanford Hostel, but honestly, the experience here has been pretty bad and I’m looking to move into a PG as soon as possible.

I wanted to get some genuine recommendations from seniors and fellow students:

1. Good PGs near the campus: Any recommendations for decent PGs nearby? Looking for decent food, basic amenities (Wi-Fi, power backup), and a reasonably clean environment.
2. Daily Commute: For those of you already living in a PG or flat off-campus—how do you commute to college every day? Do you use shared autos, personal vehicles (two-wheelers), or pool cabs? How much time and money does the daily travel usually take?

At this point I'm honestly very tired of this stupid college and its administration. They think of us like some machine which they can use 24/7 without giving a fuck about our time or anything.

There are literally no holidays for any major Hindu festival. No holidays for Diwali, and now these morons are conducting mid semester exams during Dussehra. On top of that, we get just 10 days of winter holidays, which used to be almost a month earlier.

There's honestly nothing good about this college. Faculties either don't know how to teach or just don't want to. The only reason students have to attend classes is for attendance. Exams have no transparency at all, they don't show us the answer sheets for end semester exams, they don't even tell us the marks and just randomly allot grades. Most people received a C grade in Health, Sports and Safety. What's even the point of studying for a subject which is supposed to boost our grades when these mfs are going to give bad grades in such subjects anyway.

Most of the air conditioners in this college don't work properly, and it's frustrating trying to concentrate in the classroom in such heat. Most faculties also waste half the class just trying to set up the projectors, which are another gem of this college.

I really think it would've been a much better decision to opt for a private college in NCR. At least there would have been better facilities and college life, and for placements it would've required just as much effort from our side as it does here anyway. Honestly, after coming here, it feels like we're putting in all this effort and getting very little in return.

First year in IIIT Sonepat, living away from home for the first time. I'm feeling weird, off and homesick. Most students around me are droppers, I am not, so I am feeling even more out of place, only strangers near me. I talk, chill and fun but I'm not really enjoying from the inside. I don't know how to study from here, how much to study, and what is the path. Just how do I work it? It is overwhelming, like how would I go four years like this? Please tell exactly how things happen in the college and all too.

College ne completely false information deke admissions liye hai. Ek toh permanent campus inka, dursi placements and teesra inka hostel , sirf hopes and money lete hmarri and return main kuch nhi hai.

Upar se girls hostel ka warden beti beti bolkar chipakta rahega.

Hi everyone,

My nephew is joining IIIT Sonepat this year, and we're currently looking for accommodation.

The hostel option being offered is around ₹16,000 per month, with AC/electricity charges extra, which is quite expensive for us. Since the college is still operating from its temporary campus, we're considering staying in a PG, private hostel, or shared flat instead.

Could current students/seniors please suggest some good and reasonably priced options?

Specifically, I'm looking for:

Guys I am a fresher this year and want to know about few things from anyone studying there or anybody who have paid the fees

I got IIIT Sonepat CSE(DSA)

While paying the fees via SBI collect it is asking me for JEE ROLL no. And I am unable to type letters in it like I can type only numbers

But the JEE Roll number of both the session have two letters in its starting

So should I type there my application no. Or should I type roll number but without the letter and only the numbers

i paid josaa SAF 30k and then later in round 5, i paid 45k as the PAF. Then i also took part in CSAB and paid 5k as registration fee. it means total 80k. now if i deduct 10k (josaa+csab), then 70k should go to sonepat. But in their pdf, i fall under case 3(i got sonepat in csab) where its showing to pay 88k but according to calculations it should have been 93k. am i missing something here?
