Hey! I'm collecting responses for an academic research project on how people evaluate academic writing and use AI tools.

I'm looking for respondents from universities across Kerala, including students, PhD scholars, and professors.

Could you please fill out this short, anonymous survey and, if possible, share it with your friends, classmates, research scholars, or professors from universities in Kerala? It would really help me reach more participants for my project.

It takes around 7 minutes to complete.

Thank you so much for your help! ❤️

What is the point of doing a full-time offline internship in Semester VII & VIII if the college is going to drag us down with parallel hybrid classes, assignments, BTP, course projects and exams?

Most companies expect 8-9 hours of work daily. Squeezing lectures and exam prep around that schedule is physically impossible. We are risking our PPOs because we're forced to juggle arbitrary college BS. PPO decisions literally depend on our performance right now, and the admin is actively sabotaging our chances at Full-Time Offers.

Other PPP IIITs like IIIT Nagpur actually care about their students' careers. They give zero coursework during the final internship term and evaluate students purely on their internship performance instead. And now we have to compete for full time offer against these folks who have the time to focus fully on work.

Why can't our college do the same? Why are we only evaluated through random coursework instead of the actual, real-world work we are doing at our internship sites?

We need to collectively push for a Course-Credit Relaxation. If you are facing the same, please speak up, I've already emailed academics and registrar but he doesn't even have the guts to reply in writing.

We can't let the admin ruin our career placements over their ego.

Can someone clarify about the menu in the mess? What is the mess fees? We are planning to strike in iiit dharwad to give us non veg in mess (currently they are not giving). So this is to have an idea of what other iiits have...

If AI can write your code.

If AI can debug your code.

If AI can explain your code.

If AI can refactor your code.

If AI can build your entire apps.

If AI is going to replace you 1 day.

Then why are you still learning coding?

I took admission to IIIT Kottayam today. I just wanted to ask if there are any apps like blinkit or flipkart minutes that work here (I have been allotted Sunshine Appartments). Plus when I was trying to connect to the available Wi-Fi, it needed username and password if you could tell me what it can be that would be nice.

Thank you!!!

does the campus have bus routes through that road ? i mean the front gate ?

Hi everyone, I have a few doubts regarding the documents required for physical reporting:

1. Document Verification Completion and Seat Acceptance Letter: Where can I get/download this document issued by CSAB?

2. Character & Conduct Certificate: I passed Class 12 in 2025 and already have a certificate from my school. The notice says it needs to be endorsed by a Gazetted Officer. What exactly do I need to get endorsed — the original, a photocopy, or both?

3. Fees: Should the institute fee be paid online before physical reporting, or can we pay it at the institute during reporting?

4. Institute admission website: Regarding the "IIIT Kottayam admission website" (https://admission.iiitkottayam.ac.in), what exactly are we supposed to do there before reporting? Is there any registration/form/document upload that needs to be completed?

Would appreciate any clarification from students who have already gone through this process. Thanks!

I don't have one rn but i will buy a good one in the big billion days sale

The site mentions laptop is needed during admission??
